NPD - UPDATED with clip

Just got this from the boards very own Juan Solo - thanks a lot!

It's an Uglyface + LFO and although I have only given it a short test drive I can already see a future filled with sonic meltdown as it's one little mad noise machine  :D

John is pretty awesome! He's just rebuilt a zendrive for me that was kindly donated by sgmypod and done an amazing job with it...now if I can just get to test it....

It is a totally crazy wicked fuzz (I actually don't know the technical terms of what it do, but I'm sure John can explain it  :D) and a low-frequency oscillation that makes it even more crazy.

And you are totally right. Johns work is excellent! I also have his take on the Skreddy "Lunar Module" fuzz in it's one great little fuzz pedal. It took some time for me to getting used to it, but now I'm just liking it more and more.

The Zen drive ended up being pretty much a full rebuild, but yup it's working. Have to admit, I liked that, might have to make one for me.

The UF/LFO is a very nasty/bitty/glitchy fuzz with an envelope in there that messes with the frequency of it. You can kick on the LFO in place of the envelope. It's pretty much a sonic weapon (and half of the Alice that Huw and Wez have).

Horsehead, Give your mate a poke regarding the mayo also ;)

Taken a few days off to get caught up a little with the backlog... Getting there, getting there.

If you go onto my site and look at the Elunium PU34 Explosive Space Modulator, there are some links to the Homewrecker page and a few things that the UF can do. There's also a couple link to Mike Bailey's demos of the LFO+lower frequency mod. They'll give you an idea of some of the things it can do.

This is not really a usable effect. It's more of a fun thing.

We prefered it with the germs in the first stage for bass and the silicon for guitar, hence the switch on that one. glad he likes it :)

Nice! Shows the everyday usability of the effect quite nicely. Like a nice transparent compressor, I don't know why you'd every turn it off ;)
