What's it like to play?
 8)

Depends on what you're used to. If you've only ever played 'planks' this guitar is like an alien. It's big, it's deep, huge heel. If you're used to playing acoustics, the transition is alot easier.

What you get in return is a very resonant, lively guitar and a huge tone. You can feel what you play.

It's like taking one of these for a spin:

Just looking at those pics again - it looks great! What camera were you using?
I think I hate being indecisive.

The camera was a simple Fuji Finepix Z10fd on a 2 megapixel setting and natural sunlight.

I've not played a Brian Setzer model, but I've played a couple of original 6120's and they are great guitars.  They can give a great rock tone if you drive them a bit.  Does this have the sound post in it?  I'm sure you'll be really happy with it.

This one has trestle bracing instead of soundposts.

It's a more focussed but less acoustic sound. Real '58 through '60 6120's had this.

I once played THE original Brian Setzer "model" - way before there was a "Brian Setzer model"

A mate of mine has an original '59. One of the two most awesome guitars I ever played. That guitar made me understand the whole 'vintage' thing. The other was a '63 Gretsch Firebird.

I can't afford either of those guitars.
