I have just rewired my aussie made cole clark tele . of my 2 gigging guitars its the one i consider the heavyier . anyway i just took the single out of the neck ,got a new scratch plate and put an old faithful SD 59 neck that i put an a4 mag in. i love the 59nA4 . i currently have a ducan alt 8 in the bridge and while I have liked the pick up for a couple years now the alnico 8 mid eq is starting to lose its appeal . when i switch guitars from my maton with a nailbomb set the clarity on the duncans is also lacking to me
so i going to pull the trigger on an a5 warpig for the bridge . i do like the 59na4 i have in there though and also $ wise id rather just but a bridge . a59n is a prett dominant pu especially with an a4 and more than keeps up with the alt8 but the warpig is a little hotter .
anyone ever mixed a hot bkp like the pig with a 59 neck or similiar ? or is it a lost cause ?
