It's a shame he's closing down.  They're not quite my kind of thing, but they're nice to look at.
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

You could get one and be extravagant and use some of your stuff from your treasure trove of parts :D

I think that out of what's left, the body you posted would be the number 1 for me! (but obviously I shall leave it for your :) ), then it'd be the pink/green strat HSH body, then the SSS green/black.... very very tempted to buy one of these before they're gone!

Can you get a pickup with a colored cover that is glow in the dark? That would be so awesome.

Also, led inlays?^^

Ha we're on the same page i was thinking possibly some LED inlays and some of the DR neon UV strings
Ah yes, I forgot about those, perfect choice!
BKPs in use: 10th set / RY set / Holy Diver b, Emerald n / Crawler bridge, Slowhand mid MQ neck/ Manhattan n

Right after exchanging a few emails with Alan @ OOTS it looks like this is definitely going ahead im just awaiting some bridge spacing measurements and also quotes from various places for clear coating.

Im still fairly undecided on the neck but i think i want a reverse hockey stick type possibly that has a very thin satin finish that will easily wear away and get grubby.

Pickup colours i haven't chosen yet but im pretty sure it will either be a miracle man set or something from elsewhere. I was going to go for the cold sweat set then remembered that the mids were far too polite sounding the last time i had some.

How much is the clear coating costing ? Do you know where you're getting the neck from ?

I am sooo tempted with one of these.

I havent got any quotes back on the clearcoating yet.

And i think im going to have a kramer type neck made as all the ones you can buy have locking nuts.

Feline explain this to me once - with those Kramer type necks the tuning pegs means the strings don't stay parallel after they go over the nut, infact the spread is quite wide. apparently you almost need a locking nut to get the strings right.

Unless you have a hardtail, of course.  Even then there's a bit of pressure for the E strings to pop out of the nut (which I guess you must also find on your Vs, sometimes?)

are you thinking hockey stick?
surely the beak style kramer headstock won't do that.
