Crawlers in LP Std, neck and bridge, full track
« on: March 07, 2012, 07:50:44 PM »
Well, it's been quite a while since I was active on the forum, but a new recording is as good an excuse as any to jump back in!  Here are some links to a track from a new recording project I've been working on with a friend:

Guitar tracks are a 1990 Gibson LP Std with Crawlers. The relatively clean, "jangly" guitar bits are bridge pickup through an Amplitube pseudo-Marshall model.  For the higher gain rhythm tracks, one (double-tracked) channel is bridge, the other (also double-tracked) is neck -- though I forget which is which! -- with a mix of Amplitube pseudo-Mesa and Orange models. The solo is neck through an Amplitube Orange model.

The track itself is a cover of "Servants of Fate" (Dunken Mullet/Rich Jones) from the UK cult space-metal band Mournblade (http://www.mournblade.me.uk/). Our cover has the band's blessing to be made freely available online. :)
