Thanks for all the info guys but i guess my safest bet is to just buy a set of used AXIS pu's off of someone who does not like them as much as i do :lol:

there's no reason why you wouldn't be happy with them  8)

No, it won't. Probably the Warpig is closer to the ToneZone tonally.
I own a Tonezone and both warpigs. The C warpig sounds a little like it but the alnico is totally different. It might have the same EQ curve but the differences are night and day almost.

I think the the dominate qualities of the Tone Zone are the big, tight but sometimes muddy bass, big crunchy mids with a high mid spike and mid level trebs. And if there was probably going to be something similar it would probably be a Alnico nailbomb only the nailbomb doesn't sound like cr@p where the TZ might. I have no experience with the Nailbomb but i did hear a back to back comparison of the 2 someone did. In those clips the TZ = dead with the qualities above and the ANB was vibrant, clear, and organic.
