My First handmade
« on: March 31, 2012, 02:36:19 AM »
Well I've kicked around the idea of making handmades for years. This is my first successful one I've ever built without the assistance of a pre-made neck. Also pretty much the only one I've felt comfortable showing off. Granted it's still a bolt on, the next one will be a neck through. Just got everything assembled and test fitted, some final sanding to do still, but should be on its way to paint soon. Oh and its Warpig, PAF equipped! 8)

here is a few in progress shots as well

Dude - that's an EVIL guitar!  Playing in a folk trio are we?

That's really good.  Love it.

Not my style but nicely done on the workmanship! It hsould give me the kick up the **** that I need ot get my project going agian - I don't think it will though!

Also, when I first saw the picture, I thought it was going to be a Devries custom type thing - very happy that it isn't!
I think I hate being indecisive.

I dig it, nice workmanship - I take it you're not playing indie-pop with a beast like that and Warpigs.  Looks like a machine ready to scare off kids with skinny jeans and winkle-pickers

It looks really good, plus it's a fresh new design. How does it play and sound actually?
My biggest fear if I ever did such a project would be that I end with something that looks ok, but really doesn't play as nice as my bought guitars.
