I had the scott ian signature pickup (22k, alnico 2, rail coils) in a bolt-on maple neck PRS and all I could think of when playing it was how much better an alnico nailbomb would sound in that guitar
the pickup wasn't harsh like an invader, but the low end was muddy, midrange was all compressed and messed up and top end was a bit fizzy
and that was a custom shop pickup that's at least as expensive as a BKP

If you want to go more agressive, then Holydiver.

To my ears the Holydiver is not more aggressive than the A-Bomb - they are about the same. If you want more aggression than either of those go Miracle Man or Cold Sweat.
