Telecaster neck pickup covers
« on: April 03, 2012, 11:22:33 AM »
Hello chaps. Easy question here – is changing the cover on a Tele neck pickup the sort of thing an idiot like me could do relatively easily, or is it a job best left to the pros? If the former, anyone know how one would go about doing this?

It can be doable but can be tricky and you have to watch out for the coil when removing it

You will probably want to have it re-wax dipped afterwards too if you use much gain

I think you're quite aware that I do, indeed, use much gain.  How does one go about getting this done?
