What is the fret access like, as well as how do the bolt on Les Pauls sound tonally?
Fret access is like a Strat or Tele, because that's how it's constructed! Same thing soundwise, essentially, but of course the different materials will come into play, and the tune-o-matic bridge.
It won't sound or respond exactly like a set-neck Les Paul, but if the neck's mahogany (or similar) it will take you more in that direction.
Another thing I'm interesting in knowing is, on my other Warmoths, I've had the 720 Strat mod, and I believe this one doesn't have that mod. How will it affect the guitar? Would it really be an issue?
The only thing the 720 Mod does is make the neck pocket a bit deeper so the neck sits closer to the body if you're not using a scratchplate. It's a cosmetic thing, no effect on tone.
LP bodies don't have that option, but they do have an angled pocket to create enough string height/angle over the body to work with the tune-o-matic bridge. I don't know whether this leaves a gap between the end of the fretboard and the body - I would guess it probably doesn't, because they're not expecting anyone to want a scratchplate on an LP.
Also what do people think of Makore, as I'm really unfarmiliar with this? And how does the chambering really "help" the tone, etc?
Absolutely no idea about makore, but from the descriptions it should give a warm tone similar to mahogany. As for the chambering, the way they do it - with lots of small holes, not one or two big ones - is mainly to reduce weight, not to change the tone. So it doesn't sound like a hollowbody, but acoustically they do seem a bit more lively and resonant, which I like. Of course it'll vary a lot between individual bodies.
And finally, what do people think of it looks wise? I just think it's sexy, and the wood on the back of the body just looks utterly stunning!
I think it looks great! I hope you'll choose a nice neck to go with it! :D
