Thanks all! It did arrive unexpectedly. I had talked with Tommy on Thursday and he said he had just cut the body and was going to send pictures, would ship the body first and the neck to follow. On Friday, the whole thing showed up on the afternoon UPS stop!!
So, though I do have most of the bits and pieces, I did not have enough grain filler nor all the right colors to mix, though I do have enough colors in the WB stain. Anyways, Stew-Mac order should be here this week and I will post progress pictures.
I used just a couple drops of boiled linseed oil and rubbed it in very well on the neck, mostly to get the super fine dust off and out of the pores. So the neck is finished.
By the looks of it, this should be a pretty simple finish, just have to take care and get the colors right.
