Hmmm, some kind of halbreed blade and pole pickup ... interesting somewhat ...? Wonder if it still sounds balanced.

I've seen them before somewhere.... are Reverend guitars using them?

I don't like the look.... makes me think of Morse Code.  :?

yeah reverend are using them.

ive exchanged a few emails with the guy selling them and decided to not go ahead with it once he posted clips as they werent amazing

the concept is interesting. But i agree with Philly they look like morse code

Apparently it makes it tighter/more focused and more even when bending...

Which would make you think theyd want the blade on the high strings.. but the poles are apparently going to keep it warm and thick.

Yes ... if they did a nine string with another 3 pole pieces it would read SOS ( ... --- ...)  :D

Cheers, kind of sounds like using lighter strings on the low notes and thicker ones for the top

If I had one of these I would try some 5/6 string sweeps to see if there was a noticeable change between the 2 middle strings
