Its time for you guys to here my BKPs

Although this should technically be in the sound clips forum, I am a shameless self promotor and love my music so...

My band, Fortyseconds, have just finished recording our first single (no more demo quality cr@p), this is getting sent off anywhere and everywhere. I play lead guitar and my bro plays rhythm (not strictly confined to those styles if ya know what i mean). My brother sings, me and Thom (bass) do backing vox and we have stef on the drums.

Guitar info, I used my custom build (that i built) with my P-90 in the middle for nearly all of this. I used my bridge black dog (same guitar) for the solo in I can see red. The other guitar i used was my Mex strat with Apaches in the mid and bridge using them in paralell, thats only on "The Password Is Britney". My bro used his Mex Rosewood Tele with Yarbird neck and Piledriver bridge. He uses the YB throughout. Bass player has an Iabnez ATK 300, real nice stringray style guitar, stef used his custom made KD Drums kit. Ampwise, i have a DSL 50, sam (bro) has a Marshall JCM Slash and thom has a custom made, unkown brand amp which badly drawn boy used to own before we took it (no lawsuits have yet to arise).

The tracks are "I can See Red", "Plus Against Minus" and "The Password is Britney"

Enjoy....

Sounds really good. Your singer reminds of the guy from Placebo and Coheed and Cambria. Not my kind of stuff but you have done it well. The password is Britney is very Biffy Clyro

I see on your influences The Bled, and Alexisonfire but i cant hear it. Have you got any songs which do?

Your bro's vocals reminded me of Placebo... I've no problem with that. Well done.

We really like the bled and alexis on fire but our songs may not show the influences so blatently, it may be sounds of beats and stuff, more stuff stuff. Thanks for all the great comments guys, especially bout Biffy Clyro (favourite band) and Coheed and Cambria (other favourite band), my bro will be really happy bout that comment. Thanks so much guys

Not my style of music, but I enjoyed the songs very much!
Excellent mix marred by really high mp3 compression, but the songs are definitely quality!
