NGD: C-Pig'd Ibanez

So, yesterday I found myself quite the bargain!
Since I've had my beloved S7420 as my main axe for a long while, I figured it was time to let her have a little sister.

Sisters.

Now, as for the sound, I am actually afraid I might have to either change the pickups or do something else. Mind you, I've only played it over my POD farm thingy at home, but it sounded a fair bit too bassy for my liking, with the same presets that sound awesome on my brighter guitars, so until I try it over my real rig, the jury's still out.
So far, I'm sort of considering yanking the tone pot out first, to see if that clears up the mush. Any other ideas?

what a sexy guitar. I'd bet those Warpigs would sound a lot better in a tube amp (of course :P), but I've always preferred my pups be more chimey than bassy.

Merely a matter of preference though! I've found you can change a-lot on the amp to fix the bass issue. I just got a new axe which was a lot thicker and bassier than my previous one. I had to dial back the bass quite a bit, but i'm happy with it!

Minor update:

So, after some tweaking the guitar now looks like this:

I am also throwing in a BKP 550K pot, as soon as I get my hands on one, to sort of get the last little smidgen of bite out it. Other than that, I am really, really happy with this guitar. It plays really, really well.
