I am looking for a set of new bkp in one of my guitars.
This guitar did have an aftermath set but the sounded a bit dull and lifeless.
The body is black limba with a bubinga neck and snakewood fretboard so its quite bright.
Not after any fizz or too much oomph but something similat to how the aftermath sounds in ny swamp ash bodied guitar.
Playing through a diezel vh4 and engl invader.

Cold sweat (brightest, liveliest high output pickup, save perhaps the blackhawk, which I've never heard) or painkiller (think aftermath but less tight, more of a high mid spike that might give the opening up in the top end youre looking for)

Personally, I'd go cold sweat.

I think Cold Sweat sounds about right.

These two amps are capable of loads of gain and have lots of midrange. I would therefore go for the most clear pickup, and in the contemporary class the answer is Cold Sweat.
