Unexpected NPD
« on: May 13, 2012, 01:56:24 AM »
Well this is something i didn't expect.

I was visiting one of the local music shops here (twiggs music in Rimouski, QC) and was trying out amplifiers with my BKP'ed 7 string. it's loaded with a black dog and mule set. the guys commented on how great and brutal it was sounding, and that i must have really mean pickups in there. Not at all, says i, the black dog is more hot rod les paul than it is typical EMG. on mentionning the BKP brand their eyes lit up and they said 'we just discovered this brand and have a set in stock'

so here i am with an unexpect C-Bomb bridge and A5 Neck Nailbomb for my LTD H-1000. the best thing is, i wanted to pimp this axe for a typical iced earth riffing tone, and tim recommended EXACTLY the c-bomb bridge and neck. to find this set in stock in my area.

and also, tygyr finish for a tiger guitar :)

the guys said that the pickups were ordered by someone local who finally changed his mind and went for another set. if you're a forum regular, thanks!
My BK's:
Black Dog8-Riff Raff8 / Black Dog7-Mule7
C-Bomb Set / Blackhawk Bridge
Holydiver Set/ BG50 Set
