Didn't watch it. Is I had work :(
But it was bloody intense!... I was on the Internet every 5 minutes looking at scores. Really disappointed that man utd didnt win the league after that 8 point lead but fair play to city.
I was so hopeful that city would lose and it looked like they would. Anyway, probably the best season I've watched, absolutely intense the whole way through.

I watched the City game. It was bloody bonkers. What a comeback (from both teams). The spring has been pretty intense with the two Manchester teams battling for the upper hand and the fight for third place.

I'm not really a footy fan, but I was checking the scores constantly.

Nail biting stuff!

I was obviously gutted we lost the league but it was exciting until the end.  I think with all the injuries we had this season finishing level on points is nothing to be ashamed of.  I'm already looking forward to next season!

Probably the best PRemier League season so far - and to be honest I'm almost losing interest in football!

Gary Neville was impressively neutral during the Sky coverage, very refreshing to hear and great that Hodgson has pulled somebody so knowledgable into his England set up. A very wise move, Neville doesn't suffer fools gladly so I'm hoping he will help route out some of the under performers and those that cause disquiet amongst the rest of the team Terry (cough, cough)
I think I hate being indecisive.

Couldn't watch it, not having Sky, but I was listening on the radio - what happened in injury time seemed almost incomprehensible, and still does!

Apparently there've been people wandering the streets of Manchester singing "We won the league in Fergie time!"

It has been a good season, both the title and relegation issues going right down to the last day.
And the Champions League places still undecided.
And the success of Newcastle (well done Pardew!)
And Everton finishing ahead of Liverpool (obviously no blame attached to "King Kenny", oh no, 'course not....   ) :P .
And McLeish getting sacked (sorry, but he was rubbish).
And Swansea finishing 11th!  :D

Probably the best part of the season. Playing the game in exactly the right way, no laddish/loutish behaviour from the players, a young manager proving that with the right values you can do pretty well, silencing the 'they're doomed'/'they'll fall soon' critics. Hopefully they will do just as well, if not better, next season.

My only fear is that someone will poach Rodgers.... at least it won't be Spurs, if Harry is staying put.  Our chairman is good at finding progressive young managers, but it's hard to keep them.  One day we'll end up with Chris Coleman and plummet back down the leagues...  :(

I was kind of hoping Wigan would get relegated so - if the worst came to the worst - we could get get Martinez back.  But Wigan were so excellent the last few games, I'm glad they stayed up.

I reckon he'll stay for a bit longer. He only needs to look as far as someone like Paul Jewell (and maybe even AVB) to realise that you can fail pretty quickly if you aim to 'move up' the management ladder too quickly and end up at the 'wrong' team.

I hope you're right.  There were rumours about him going to Chelsea, since he has history with them.... he was quick to distance himself from that, but that's because he's sensible enough to know that cutthroat Abramovich would be bound to sack him within two years, succeed or fail.

He's certainly ambitious - if the right club, with a supportive chairman, came in, I think he'd go for it.  But we'll see.

I reckon Arsenal are the ideal club for him once Wenger decides he's had enough. Supportive chairman, good wage structure (at least it sounds sensible), pretty decent youth policy, play football in the right way, well run financial model - all set up for a youngster with the right attitude to take over at some point.
I think I hate being indecisive.

It's amazing that was only a couple of days ago!  It's been discussed so much since it seems like weeks!

I only saw the WBA v Arsenal match the other day as I recorded MOTD. I'm not alluding to anything but WBA goal keeper was appalling. To the point where I wondered is he deliberately making mistakes so Arsenal get 3 points? I got suspicious when I heard he was at Spurs for a year and never got a game.
If you haven't seen Arsenals goals from this game, have a look and see what you think.

Good luck on Saturday Ian! :) A woman I've started seeing is a massive Hammers fan and she got tickets yesterday for Wembley. It should be fireworks hopefully! Another London derby if they get promoted too.
