NAD
« on: May 21, 2012, 10:59:38 PM »
After a 4 year love affair with Blackstar and their Artisan range, the marriage is over.

My back couldn't take any more pain lifting the bloody thing and it's 412 in and out of the car and up and down stairs. Had enough and thought it was time to be "sensible".............

So here's what my new amp world now looks like.............. the Dr Z Maz I just got at the weekend is stunning. Never heard anything like it. Makes the Mules in the lester sing out loud. Marshall 2061X for the more vintage blues feel. A great contrast.

Any other MAZ users here?

No clips yet (only got the amp on Saturday) but for an idea of the sound, have a listen to Buddy Whittington's most recent album.. "Six String Svengali". It's that sound (he plays a Maz 38).

Great looking amps and guitars. I have played a Dr. Z, but can't remember which model. It sounded really good though. Congrats and enjoy  :D
