ZZ TOP OR PUSCIFER CONCERT???
« on: May 22, 2012, 06:45:04 PM »
Hi guys! So, ZZ Top with 3 Doors Down, and Puscifer, are both going to be in my neck of the woods ON THE SAME NIGHT. Bummer.

So, I wanted some help choosing, which show do you guys think I should go see? For some background info, Tool is one of my favorite bands, though I know Puscifer is nothing like Tool, though I do love anything with Maynard James Keenan in it. I've seen Tool live before. I've also seen ZZ Top 2 years ago, and it was a decent show. Not bad but not great either. The music was great of course, but I felt like it was missing something. Who should I go see?

3 Doors Down are a rather good band live also. My money would be going to them and the men with (and called) beards. Bearing in mind I'm also a massive Tool fan (that didn't come out quite right...).
When you´re racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just pies.

I saw ZZ Top a couple of years ago, and thought that they were average-- it seemed like they were just on autopilot, so i'd go and see someone else. Still a good gig, though :)

This. Nothing beats laughing at Eastern Europeans trying to be all hip and failing at it in that adorable way only they can.

Also, funny accents.

That said; ZZ Top would be my bet, followed by Puscifer. Haven't heard Puscifer at all, but there is definitely some merit to the cover of "Conditions Of My Parole", which is pretty much the greatest thing ever.

Went with Puscifer, just thought I couldn't miss that show, especially since I saw ZZ already. Couldn't top that one anyways, got 2nd row and Billy handed me his pick right in the middle of La Grange!
