Slowhand or IT for neck Strat pickup?
« on: June 05, 2012, 04:06:03 PM »
Hi guys,
I am going to pull the trigger on a single neck Strat pickup.  It's another Warmoth one with Dimarzio VV Solo bridge and Fender middle (sounds really good??!!) - I want a pickup in the neck which can go from warm clean for Hendrixy stuff to good OD sounds ala Eric Gales, Philip Sayce etc.

I thought either the IT or Slowhand but CANNOT decide!  I am erring on the side of  the Slowhand now.   I have a Sinner, which is too hot and Dimarzio HS3, which is too weak!

Cheers,
Jim

Slowhand stretches enough for those styles.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.
