I hate running!!!  I'm just not built for it - bad knees and I'm bulky and heavy - I won't do it.

Running's weird, it seems to either come naturally.... or not.

I know people who are basically pretty unfit but can just turn up and run a 10k without any preparation (although they probably feel the ill-effects afterwards).  Whereas I had to build up really slowly over several months, and even then I couldn't do the full distance without slowing to a walk occasionally.   Plus I'm prone to a bad back and shin splints.

A mate did this today. On asking how he got on, his entire answer was "I've had tougher steak pies" :lol:
