Are both kidney's necessary?

What's with the bass and treble controls on the back of the amp ? I've never come across any reference to Rory having his AC30's modded.

It's not a mod.  It was where Vox initially installed the top boost controls and components when they changed the AC30, before going to the grey plate.

Imagine the disappointment when you peel off that gaffa tape and it says "NOEL" underneath.

Seriously crossed my mind.
If it's still up for sale when I get home in a couple of weeks I'm gonna take a wander in to see it.

I've done a ton of overtime recently but I've also got a NGD soon (Gibby Explorer, natural, à la Edge yummy, as phuck) and I 'm figuring out how to sneak it past Lady Billt. Another amp might push her over into Actual Bodily Harm

I'm missing Bernie Marsden doing Rory at the Jazz café on thursday. Gutted
