I was wondering which would be best for metal and pinch harmonics?

The crawler... But why on earth would you choose a pickup based on how easy it is to get overtones and harmonics with it?? Especially in between those to pickups. Neither are great in that field, they are both fat, soft, rounded and reasonably dark. It's not a good match for pinch harmonics.

Why are you choosing between these two pickups?

I'd go with a VHII with those specs.

I wouldn't even go for the VHII, even though it is great for pinch harmonics.
Why on earth would TS choose between those two for METAL and harmonics?
That is beyond me.
TS, you need to tell what guitar the pickups will go in and what woods it is made of.
You'll also need to say what music you want to play and what characteristics you are going for.

I know asking about how they do metal and pinch harmonics relative to one another sounds absurd, but it's just a somewhat arbitrary inquiry. I'm not going to be making a decision based on these things of course. Thanks bootyloads!
