another one done!







Not quite like anything fender ever released - but obviously its based on the duo-sonic/mustang/music-master kinda thing

i am actually really liking the 24" scale on this.  I think being a strung through body hardtail bridge helps a lot with that

was really aiming for the 70's vibe on this - but the colour did cause me a few issues getting a shade i was actually happy with

Nice work as always!

Whenever I see it, I do like the idea of Tele saddles on a Strat-style hardtail bridge.  I must try it sometime.

this was a squier duo-sonic bridge, modded for string through.   the compensated tele saddles work perfectly on it

yeah, this was a fraction of the price and works equally well, obviously it still has the option of using it as a toploader but i never even considered stringing it that way


the cut down tele bridge used on the recent stratele was also a reasonably cheap way to get that kind of thing without paying glendale prices

They look like Irish Tours to me, possibly with a baseplate on the bridge pickup

Irish tours with a baseplate on the bridge pickup, how did gwem guess that ;)  


i am enjoying it, its a lot less flimsy feeling than the average fender offset.  just a good solid workhorse - might do one for myself if i get around to it

it also has a phase switch which i dont like with these pickups, might make more sense as a tone preset switch or something like that.


i am hoping the next one i post finished in my current productive streak will be the double neck - should be able to get that buffed up in the next month or so ready for assembly.  it is looking rather special
