Well, the holydiver is at home in basswood and is made for 80s, melodic power and prog styles. Miracle Man would be better for CoB and does 80s stuff too, but the Diver is your ticket, I am sure of that.
I just think you will end up changing the neck PU too, cause the diver neck is amazing....but let the bridge do the concincing first ;)
But be carefull with the wiring advice from James_B_K_P. While it is of course true that BKPs are just like other passives, be aware that they use a different color code on the wires than Dimarzio. You can still pace the hot and ground at the same points as with the Dimarzio, they will just have different colors.

For standard series operation solder the red to the pot tag, the black to ground(usually the back of the pot casing) and solder the green and white together.
