I am glad that Mr Ant is back gigging. I am not a fan but it was sad to see him going through his problems a few years back.
As for venues, I too like the genteel predominantly seating only places to enjoy watching a band. I am there to hear the music and see the band and dancing around is not my thing but I realise that some like to jig about and if so, that is fine as long as they don't do it in front of me.

Send three and fourpence we're going to a dance
BKP's: Apache, Country Boy, Slowhands.

Looks like it's old-git fest in this thread gwem!

I didn't have time earlier to add that my band at the time (in fact, all bands I've been in) completely disagreed with me - they couldn't imagine anything worse than seated theatre-type gigs

What temperature do you wash it on? () I only ask because all my work shirts seem to be, er,  shrinking recently... and I'm fairly certain it's because Mrs R insists on putting them on a high temperature...

Have also noticed I need to rearrange my err.. belly to be able to bend down and do my shoes up. My belly honestly doesn't look that big, but evidently it's creeping up on me. Either that, or Miss gwEm is indeed putting my clothes and too hot a wash.

It's no doubt the later ;)
