Yep, I've just realised it's been six months since I bought a guitar  :o  As most people on here will know, this is an eternity for me  :lol:  The thing is, I'm not GASing for anything either  :?  I've just got my PRS SE Cu24 to sell, and then I've sold off all the guitars and amps I'm not using.  I've just kept my absolute favourites, which I'm playing more often and loving more than ever.

Actually, it's more like: "how can that be? Less cannot be more! It's impossible! More is more!"

Anyway, more is always more until you've got too much and then, only once you've tried and tested everything, you can downsize and think "this is excactly what I want".

First you need the experience of having as massive rig and only then you can happily downsize.

When talking about numbers of guitars or something, I'm definitely with this Yngwie bloke (I'll never forget that youtube vid of him just chucking a strat down on the pile on the sofa after showing it to the camera :lol:).

Don't think I'd really use "less is more" in this instance, for me, it's definitely "more is more" :lol:

I do use the term over creative stuff, spices in cooking, etc, but I wouldn't in this case.

This is exactly it for me.  I've tried pretty much everything, worked out what I like, picked up a few choice guitars and Marshall-style amps and now I'm in Happy Land  :D

Nah, I'm a fan of LP Customs, always on the lookout for a suitable one, but I've never found one sufficiently lightweight to buy.  If I ever do buy one I very much doubt it'll be a 70s example, seeing as most guitars from that decade seem to be impregnated with lead....

You're right though, if they disassembled it I'd never put it back together.
