The Goldtop I had sounded like ass next to my PS Signatures.  This one however, does not!  I took my blue Sig (with trem) along with me when I tried this one out and I totally expected it to get its backside kicked, but it didn't.  I think my old Goldie must have been a lemon.  Very rare for PRS.

This DGT Standard sounds like the biggest Tele or SG you've ever played.  Very nice indeed.  I really didn't expect to like it that much, but once I tried it I didn't want to part with it.  I guess it spoke to me...

The DGT is definitely growing on me.  I found the extra volume knob hugely offputting to begin with, looks-wise, but I'm oblivious to it now.

I wouldn't be surprised to find myself buying one at some point.....!  :lol:

I really, really like mine. It's the best guitar I've owned certainly, and quite possibly the best I've ever played. Everything on it feels very right to me and I think it helps that DG's approach to amps is keep it one channel and do your tone changes with the guitar and a couple of pedals, which is what I feel most comfortable doing too and the guitar really feels designed with that in mind.
