i have no idea .. i work in construction (workin on electricity) so i can get that stuff all day for free if they're workin at the same place =P
but i dont think it's very expencive... depends on how much you need though

Rockwoll is great between cavity walls for a bit more sound isolation, cheaper and better is lots of sheets of plasterboard. Density stops sound and plasterboard is cheap and pretty dense. Get the thickest sheets you can get and use at least two thick. The more the better.

If the sheds made of wood you're in for a hard time.....it just acts like a soundboard radiating the sound!

I wouldn't get a Minimat to run into the Crate.....The 'Mat would soud great on it's own for rootsy crunch but when they run into a transistor amp they don't sound their best!

I agree with HJM. I've run my Minimat through a Tech21 Trademark 10 (a pretty decent amp in its own right) and I was shocked at how much of the Minimat's tone disappeared. Budget for a Matamp 1x12 cab or stick to the Laney.

ok thanks for the advice on the insulation and matamp thing. i wasnt sure what the matamp would be like through the crate so that helps a lot.

now just need some plasterboard and/or rockwool...

A plastic bag muffles a drummer pretty well, but you may need a couple of cable ties to keep it secure (I hate it when they survive)

ARGH! i hate neighbours! rob your story infuriates me even more...

a good way of venting your anger though- crank the gain on your amp play some random death metal chords and get your whole band screaming "SHE IS A B**CH, SHE IS A B**CH, SHE IS A B**CH, YEAH YEAH!" (referring to the tree-hugging lady that lives next to our drummers house)- that was VERY satisfying...
