That's not very different from my diet really. I eat vast amounts of salad and vegetables (good for you but almost no calories), a moderate amount of fruit, lots of chicken, fish, eggs, nuts, some lean red meat, some cheese. Carbs come from the fruit and veg and carefully-controlled amounts of things like houmous, lentils, split peas, oats... I do still eat a small amount of bread (soya and linseed).
No cakes, crisps, biscuits, ice cream, sugary cereals..... all of which I used to love. It was absolute murder learning to live without those. :(
