yer! thats the fuzz i like- if you download the audio clip here:

http://www.guitareffectspedals.com/homebrew.html

a little way down- it gives you an idea of the versatility... sounds like you can get a good variation of tones (well a lot of variations of fuzz anyway) from it...

Just VERY impressed with Joel and his pedals. I think the reviews (found anywhere not just H-C) speak volumes for his stuff.

oh dear god....BRAINWAVE- the UFO has an 'octave up' feature right? could i get this joel bloke to mod it slightly to an 'octave down' effect??? that was why i was so keen on the little MXR blue box- its a fuzz which fuzzes your sound TWO octaves down... this mod (if possible) would kill two kick-arse birds with one very cool stone...

Go to his site

www.homebrewelectronics.com

and email him.

I asked him about the Big D awhile back and he replyed on New Years Eve! The guy is Top Rate. And another reason why he is getting my bussiness.

The HBE power screamer is an awesone pedal as a boost - as I am not a metal head I need less than the Big D and have a Tweed Power Screamer - I've never looked back from the £150 notes I shelled out in Denmark Street.

The Big-D is NOT a distortion-only pedal. The settings 1-2 are Overdrive, 3-4 Distortion and 5 fuzzy distortion. So have that in mind ;). It is super versatile imho.

I got a clip of ACDC back in black riff with Laney Dry/BigD/BigD 2nd gain stage. Would that help? How do i post a clip? I thought that we could post only clips of BKP pickups.
