I recently picked up a second-hand custom made Charvel clone that had a Fernades sustainer system installed.
The Bridge humbucker was some no name -didn't sound good and was very dull.
I was about to rip out the sustainer and put in a normal twin HB set but thought I would try out a decent pickup first!
Installed a Holy Diver in its place and it appears to work really well with the Sustainer.
I have to say that in normal mode the neck Sustainer sounds very good as a bonus but as usual the HD is fantastic.
Sustainer is on intro and outro - guitars used -Charvel Sandimas, Charvel clone and HD's all the way.
