Pickup for ash/maple strats
« on: August 26, 2012, 06:27:49 PM »
Hi all! my first post!

I have a Performance ash strat with maple neck, 2HB , i play classic/hard rock and metal. I'm looking for a pickup with tight bass, lot of mid/mid and low/mid. Holy diver/Black dog for bridge? and for neck? Thanks

The Holy Diver is spot on for the bridge. In an ash strat I would consider the VHII-neck. That's a little mellower then the HD-neck, from what I read in other threads.

Ok Holy diver for bridge  :D , for neck i prefer tight and bright sound, for clean use. My guitar in neck position is little bassy

In that case the HD-neck could be the ticket.
