New Flat Day. Finally, after months of faffing and stress it's done.

King of my yard at last... I'm too tired to feel good about it at this point, and the missus and I still have to move our things ;)

Congratulations and I know how you feel. When my missus and I moved into our first place we were so tired and stressed that it took a month or two to just calm down and begin to believe that we weren't about lose everything due to some unforseen legal nastiness. In the end though, it was really worth it. Now have a beer and try to relax.

Yes, that's precisely how I feel! I think I will take your advice on the beer..

Nice one, congratulations :D

Depending on how much decorating you want or have to do, that tiredness wears off after a few days/months/years

Now, just avoid sticking any nails through central heating pipes and you'll be fine...

Congratulations Gareth.  Hope everything's working out OK and the flat doesn't need too much work.

Thanks guys!

The place does need a bit of a spruce up in a couple of rooms, but nothing drastic. The missus has got houseproud all of a sudden, and we are looking at different shades of off-white  :)
