And there was I thinking "Uh-oh... he's just found out he's gonna be a Dad..."

So... "absolute dream/fantasy/perfect guitar" .... gosh, I find myself wondering what this might be as well...

I'm assuming, seeing as you're such a good customer, that Mr Smith is probably considering delivering it in person?

Ha ha!  Not quite Andy, but he will have had a hand in building it and I will get a set of construction pics and photos of Paul play-testing it.

It's not from Mark at Guitars4You, it's such limited production that only World Guitars in the UK are getting one.  I've got a deposit on it, one of only 1 in the UK and 3 in Europe, and one of only 7 (I think) worldwide.  It's a 408 Signature McCarty with a pernambuco neck, and  the only way to get one is to be a high-standing endorsed PRS Artist or to buy one of these "Collection Series V" guitars:

You know what would be bad, if someone went in the shop and scratched obscene words and dirty drawings on the finish.

Frank, have you got issues with me or something?  That seems a bit harsh!

That's an absolute beauty!
How is the wraparound bridge, though? Does it intonate properly?

Yep, it's fine for 9s, 9.5s and 10s.  I'm a 10s user and it's spot on, a very neat design.

Yes, pretty much. Just don't take anything I say seriously, ever.

I think the chances of this one ever being on display in the shop are very slim!

Edit:  Just entranced by the pictures.  I do like that colour!  Even the mix-and-match "hybrid" gold/nickel/polished aluminium hardware, which I was never keen on, is starting to grow on me, it goes well with the darker colours.

Well, I'm never going to be won over by those mini switches....

Not 100% sure about the inlays..... but I can't say I actually object to them!
