Pickup for a neck through semi-hollow body.
« on: October 05, 2012, 02:36:05 AM »
Hey guys

What's a good pickup for a walnut neck through, mahogany body, semi-hollow guitar? It's a carvin SH60 if that helps at all.

Right now I put the Holydiver from my les paul in it and it sounds pretty good, but it sounds a bit too thick.
The guitar itself is quite balanced with a really round low end. It's a bit on the dark side, but not too much.
I'm looking for something similar to the diver except with more high end and tighter bottom end.

I haven't played it, but like the others say it sounds like the Rebel Yell
