I always thought download had shite bands such as Slipknot, but if Metallica are playing, I might have to think about going now :P

Anyone going to Monsters of Rock at Rockingham Speedway (I think thats where it is), only Deep Purple and Alice Cooper confirmed at the minute I think but it could be pretty cool.

Yeah its expensive though, around £35 a ticket at the minute I believe, but Download is more expensive..

From what I've heard of new GnR, I didn't like the material enough to warrant paying for an expensive ticket and having to put up with a load of stoners and modern metal bands.

Maybe if Motley Crue are playing...

I don't think I'd pay to see the fat gut that is Axl Rose waddle around onstage for two hours. Metallica don't really float my boat, either.

I guess I'm more of an indie/rock/punk man...
