Reverb Pedal recommendations?

The more I look into this, the more I get confused. What are good reverb pedals, and what are certain reverbs' pros/cons?

I'd bung them into two categories, spring/plate and room/ambient

For reasonable money, the best room one out there IMO is the WET or Stereo WET if you're that way inclined. For springyness, the one we make. You won't get a better spring-like one for under a hundred quid (that we've heard anyhow).

I haven't any experience of it, but the Subdecay (really good effects) Spring Theory seems to be a best of both worlds pedal.

If you're spending serious brass there's the like of the Eventide Space and the Strymon stuff. Lots more features and complexity there.

Loads of demos of all the above on YT (well apart from ours).

I haven't tried any of the strymon pedals, but the demos sound fab. I got a tc hall of fame and it sounds good to my ears and has a lot of possibilities as well as being cheap.

Mostly I can underline that the Strymon Bluesky Reverb is bloody amazing, godly stuff. Versatile as heck and the sounds...oh the sounds. This one is so big on my GAS list. Have tried it on numerous occasions and saw it live too, working wonders.
The Talles Man on Earth (Folk singer from Sweden) uses them too. For example he did this one song fingerpicking on an acoustic with a bit of plate shimmer  giving some reverb and adding those shimmering overtones, which were subtle enough to only be identified as such by someone listing closely (my brother, who knows a thing or too about sound as well, was just like: that sounds incredible, what the hell is that?!) and it really just sounded so sublime, it was just...divine.

Strymon is really good, TC offers a lot of effect for the money, the Malekko Chicklet is simple but sounds nice too.

I have the Strymon Flint, every sound is fantastic.. but a bit overkill if you don't need a Tremolo effect

I Like Hardwire pedals, both the RV-7 and the Supernatural are great reverbs.

He's dropped it to £110 delivered. Seriously, if you want a digital reverb, this is the dogs bollocks. If I didn't already have one I'd be all over it. I'm even tempted to buy it anyway...

the Strymon Blue Sky is the best reverb I've owned yet, it's just incredible especially in stereo, it's worth the cost.

I love my reverbs and delays for me personally theres Strymon blue sky is the wicked but costs aroud £250.00.  As per the above this thing comes into its own when in stero though so if youre playing in mono id go for the Line 6 Verbzilla if you want someting awesome and half the price, seen it on GAK for £100.  I know Line6 can have a bad rep (And rightly so I hate their amps and distortions) but all of there there modulation fx are spot on.

+1 I agree with you there as I used to own the Verbzilla and it's a very good pedal, especially for the money, the modulated verb mode is amazing.
