Haven't played it, don't know if I want to. I'm kinda iffy on it.

I tried it and wasn't keen to be honest.

It didn't help that when you 1st start the game you have to 'audition' so it knows what level to start you at, but the TAB was upside down so everything I played was wrong and it put me on amateur  I later changed it in the main game but it didn't get me off to the best start.

I also don't think the visual interface is that great. By the time the coloured string had vibrated to give me warning of which to play next, and then I'd looked back up to check what fret to play at the notes had already gone. Guess my brain just couldn't keep up with it!

I couldn't play songs on there that I've been playing for 15 years with bands etc

It took a while to get used to the display and the lag but it's good fun. I've also just realised the cable it comes with (usb audio interface) will work with my ipad on its own in the dock connecter without any extra power - now that's really neat!

I'm hoping it'll be up to par for getting the old finger flexibility and strength on the go again. going to grab a copy when i get home

Let me know what you think - I'm still getting used to it but it is great fun... especially the games...

It only asks you to play through a few single notes, but the TAB it asks you to play from is upside down to how TAB is written normally. So everything I played was wrong from the get go.

I also didn't think the setlist of the game was very good either to be honest.

i have just got it, on PC too so i was expected issues getting it to work since they messed up the PC release.   Lag is pretty good, slightly off without tweaking anything but quite usable.

for £35 i get a usable fun game and a cable that may come in useful for other stuff since it works as a PC interface for other stuff

the interface is odd, but can be adjusted.

its not perfect but it feels more useful than a guitar hero style game

i dont like how it ramps up the difficulty.  you get something right, feel good... then the game slams you down again.
