Lovely headstocks

I've always really liked the Musicman Sabre headstock shape:

Anyone else got a favourite? Esoteric is good!

For me it's got to be the Gibson Custom Shop headstock (with the diamond) or the Blackmachine headstocks. I also really like the Ibanez headstocks.

Not sure it's my favourite, I'll have to think about that, but I do like the modern Ernie Ball/Music Man headstock.  Vert tidy and compact.

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I like the Peavey headstock with 3 on each side, I never really got the point of 4 on top and 2 on the bottom with some of the Musicman and EVH guitars.

Here's the Brian Moore, Dave:

Another one I quite like - the Ibanez Talman.  Another neat way of getting near-straight string pull over the nut (quite similar to the old Dan Armstrong guitars, I think):

thanks- that's not quite as nice as i remembered, maybe i was thinking of something else

Oh, and by the way- I can't speak for afghan dave but i had a good laugh at your thread in seconds out.

Good luck with the sale, that tele body and exotic (?) wood tele neck looked very nice (but they'd stay under my bed longer than yours before i got round to making anything out of them  )

yeah, i like the talman

i really have a soft spot for this old teisco design

but generally anything in that style - some more odern versions that are a similar idea but less quirky:

I have also been rather influenced by this for my 3 a side shape.   did not realise how much at first
