3 Way Blade Switch Wiring Question
« on: November 16, 2012, 01:41:08 PM »
So I've swapped out the Blackouts in my Schecter Blackjack ATX-C1 for a set of Cold Sweats  :D.

However, When I went to wire the 3 way blade switch, I noticed it was dramatically different to the BKP wiring diagram.

I have 2 volumes and 1 push-pull tone knob, and I'm using this wiring diagram (https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/downloads/schematics/general/humbuckers/2_hum__2_vol__1push_pull_tone_coilsplit__3_way_blade_switch.pdf) except my switch looks like this (http://www.guitarpartsonline.com/gpoebay/3way3.jpg)

Can anyone help me with how to wire the 3 way switch to match the BKP schematic? I have followed everything else in the BKP schematic.

Thanks for any of your help!

I just found this diagram, I think it should work? I'll give it a go tomorrow.

Tried using this method and it's still not working. The pickups and coil splitting are working fine, but moving the switch does nothing-almost like it's just going straight through.

Ended up just cutting the jumpers between each pair of leads, it works perfectly now!!

These pickups sound AMAZING!!! The coil tapping sounds great too! Who would've thought you could get strat-ish tones from a Schecter ;)
