For the "unthinkable". Which in the US, apparently isn't unthinkable.

Quite disturbing. I was halfway joking that if I were to work in the US my wife would have to get me one of these to persuade me to leave the house (I'm a university lecturer).

I'm not taking it as tasteless or a joke, he's absolutely right. it's a shocking state of affairs. it's like applying a plaster to an open wound.

The point is there should NEVER be a need for this kind of thing.
