From your initial post my first thought was Emerald but if you are afraid of too many highs, Abraxas is the way to go.

I am currently using 2 212 Mesa Boogie Recto horizontal cabs with my Mark V. They have Celestian 30s. Love the tone, but as you can imagine, the tone can get bright... Fast if you're not careful. I will take a look at the Crawlers. And the search continues. :)

I think the Crawlers could be too middy for a Mk V - Abraxas would definitely have enough mids in that combination.

I own a mk V and a LPC with crawlers(see previous post)...if they were too middy, I would not dig it(the geq on the V can more than compensate for a mid heavy guitar, btw)
fwiw, i run my 750 slider slightly above the middle line
-I  am sure the abraxas is fine,too-I will not comment seeing how I have never actually played it in a LPC thru a Mk V
"...major scales...what's that??"- Doug Aldrich
-Rebels,VHII, Mules,Milks,Bombs,and Boogie C+'s!!

You're right - forgot about the graphic EQ - that would take care of too many mids if needed.
