Another thing I noticed is that quotes in quotes need work. It is just a grey in grey where you can hardly see where one quote ends, which can be seen quite well with one of PhillyQs replies in this thread.

Good point and good example. I've made it a slightly darker colour.

I also would like to have all the quote info in there again, not just the info one the last one, so you can also see by whom and from when the originally quoted part is.

I'm afraid I don't follow Kiichi. Can you elaborate?

I think the reason there is less differentiation between the bold emphasis and the non bold writing is down to the text size. I have upped the size to what I think is similar to that of the previous template.

Let me know if it helps with distinguishing threads with new posts on, or if it was preferred smaller.

What the hell are the coloured squares for?

Can I turn off widescreen mode?

Where are all the icons and stuff for embedding and formatting and things?

Thanks again Ol, it is more visible now.

The other thing I mean is that above the quote you can see who is quoted and from when the quote is? I meant that for the quote within the quote (god this reminds me of Poe....is all typed or wrote but a quote within a quote?)
Upon further looking I now see that it is there, I honestly completly overlooked it when first searching for it (which goes to my point), but could you maybe make that another shade too? I find it really hard to see.

Everybody's been ignoring my questions about that, like I'm a ghost or something....  :?

I've just discovered I can see the formatting icons, smileys etc in Internet Explorer, but not in Google Chrome.

I think it's something to do with security settings - Internet Explorer keeps telling me every page is chock full of "content that will not be delivered over a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage".  Google Chrome is just blocking it all automatically.  This did not happen before.

Is it something to do with https: versus http:?  I know little about these things.....

Heres something for you Ol

When someone quotes someone who has put a hyperlink in a previous answer the link text becomes really hard to view within the white quote box.

At least that is true on my iPad - using safari browser

Is there a choice of colours for link text?
Could they be easier to see?

Dunno. I'm on chrome. I wont open explorer except to download chrome and screw firefox as well, clunky useless usedtobegood browser that it is.

Chrome good, forum bad

(I happen to know that one, and its appropriate, till the formatting and smilies work properly)

I do like that unread posts are easier to get to though. Or there at all. I dont remember seeing it as an option on the front page, you had to dig a bit?

Thank you for making the page bigger! That makes things much better, it looked a bit too small originally.

They are the same as the stars were in the previous template. Just an indicator as to how much of a prolific contributer you are!

No.

It's a Chrome issue (well actually it's an SSL issue that Chrome is rightly obeying - we're looking at it.

The other thing I mean is that above the quote you can see who is quoted and from when the quote is? I meant that for the quote within the quote (god this reminds me of Poe....is all typed or wrote but a quote within a quote?)

Yes and yes.
