nice guitars (if the, er, two i've tried were anything to go by)
however (as i've said before, i'm well aware this is broken record time  ), they're a lot dearer than they used to be with the strong yen. and it's worth pointing out that they're not 100% MIJ, they're started off in china and finished in japan. Which goes some way to explaining why they appear to be better value than japanese-made tokais and the like. I'd also say they maybe don't have quite the "mojo" of the 100% MIJ stuff- that may well be psychological, but in my defence, I thought that when I initially got my edwards, when I still thought they were 100% MIJ. They're maybe a wee bit "clinical", for want of a better word (granted some players think that about all MIJs, lol- and I'm well aware we're maybe verging a bit close to TGP-style unfalsifiable esoteric BS claims, lol).
my own personal feeling is that, being a bit miffed that I bought mine thinking it was 100% MIJ notwithstanding, if you can get them for around the price they used to go for (£400-£500) they're very nice guitars. I wouldn't pay £800 for one. that's just me, of course.
