Hey guys, I recently did two in-depth sound tests of my new Aftermaths in the two guitars that I put them in: an Ibanez JS1200 (basswood) and a PRS Custom 24 (mahogany/maple). I do distorted and clean in-depth for each guitar along with the various sound possibilities that the individual guitars can allow. The JS's coil tapping and EQ switch REALLY make a difference in the sound of the PUPs - note that I actually switched around the PUP from it's standard location so that the coil split is directly next to the bridge.
I do apologize for the random clipping when I do palm mutes or "chugs", my video recording software is shiteee! All tones are direct-in to POD Farm and nothing is adjusted throughout the videos, everything you hear is the same tones and settings (cept for the clean and distorted tones being different lol).
Also I covered the solo to Periphery's "Luck as a Constant" in both videos, Misha Mansoor's parts only. The Ibanez one came out mediocre, I did it more to demonstrate the difference between the PAF Joe and the Aftermath neck, but the one in the PRS video is actually decent.
