Since their last show where everything what possibly could go wrong went wrong, I'm their tech. It was pretty awful to see them having problems on stage due to lacking maintenance of a guitar, especially since they were filming the performance for a video and are usually tight like hell.
Seems like my obsession and hobby for guitars comes in here handy and I'm pretty astonished that the luthier the singer brought his guitar to to maintain it actually screwed the wiring up, so the signal was fading away every 2 seconds + a string broke on his second axe and we all know what $%&#ers Floyds are regarding string breakage and tuning.
As said there's an album coming out soon and no touring at the moment planned as far as I know, even if it was the case I'd only have time during summer when I don't need to study for university. :P
So I'll be doing the setups, wiring, maintenance and so on.
Talking about BKPs I've been thinking about Blackhawks for the singer (he loves his EMGs and plays mostly rythm) and Painkiller or Aftermaths for the lead guitarist for a good cut, they are tuned to Standard A sharp (yes you read that right) so low as hell, however those PUs should stay clear and defined.
