It's on the Warmoth Flickr feed, so I guess it's a self-build.

If I was building another, it would look like that.  But with P90's.

^ i'm not convinced by the 3 single coils in those weird surrounds, but I think with different pickups that'd look really nice.

That does look pretty darn sweet. The body shape... does it look a little off, as in not quite strat shaped?? Still a beautiful guitar though.

I know what you mean - I wondered if it was maybe a Soloist body, but I think it's the 3x3 headstock which makes it look un-stratty.

I like the body and the trem. The headstock doesn't really fit to a stratbody imo, but that's just my taste.

I like it. Put a humbucker in the bridge and a P90 in the neck and here we go.

I think it's an optical illusion, partly due to the headstock and partly due to the lack of a scratchplate.  I wondered for a minute if it might be one of the 7/8 sized bodies, but they only work with 24 fret "Warhead" necks.  Generally, Warmoth Strat bodies are exactly the same shape as Fender, apart from the forearm contour and beergut cutaway, which are angled a bit differently. 

I meant to say, before I went into Warmoth mode.... Nice guitar!  :D

I kind of agree about the look of the pickups - I've always thought single coils look better on a pickguard than with that kind of mounting ring. But a pickguard would hide too much of the wood, so +1 to p90s.

Is that black korina, by the way?
