I have recently changed the tuners on a Danelectro DC-12 and would like to know if you think it's a good idea to change the guitars stock bridge?
I'm also re-wiring it with new CTS pots and easier to work with vintage style cloth covered wire as well and putting new seymour duncan pickups in...
I was about to order a gotoh bridge when I noticed something unusual...the holes in the back of the bridge wouldn't match up with the holes in the guitar!
here is a link to show you,
http://www.g-gotoh.com/international/?btp_product=gtc12would this mean having to fill in the old holes and re-drilling new ones?
do you think it's worth upgrading the bridge seeing as I am upgrading everything else? or should I just leave it?
Ben.
