theres a youtube link for it.

you can hear the autotune on Ozzy's voice I reckon, sucks the life out of it in my opinion.. the middle part of the track is a little boring i think, but overall its not bad!

I effing LOVE that!

I love the production, with Ozzy up in the mix and relatively untouched (actually a little more Autotune might not have gone amiss, gwEm!!!), I love the nod to Faeries Wear Boots.

Awesome.

Agree that Bill Ward would have taken it in a more Sabbathy direction though.

Needless to say enjoy what you want to and take it for what it is but to me this aint 'proper Sabbath'.  Iommi and Geezer are still cool but no Bill Ward means no Black Sabbath and Ozzy couldnt carry a tune around in a suitcase.  I wish Dio were still here to do Heaven and Hell. I bet he could have sung like an angel right up until he died in stark contrast to Ozzy who cant sing any more and frankly is an embarassment live.

Call me a troll if you will but i like to think im a realist.  Theres past it and then theres Ozzy.....he needs to retire.  This aint an album for the fans otherwise theyd resolve their differences and play......I refuse to believe any of them are hard up and if any one is it'll e Bill Ward who wont have many royalties and hasnt done much/any thing since he quit sabbath.

Pink Floyd got it right split up and remain dignified unless its genuine and for the best.

It's all relative I think. I've heard the song quite a few times on Planet Rock now, and its grown on me slightly - i must admit its quite a lot better than the other new rock they play. But I wouldn't say it's a patch on their 1970s heyday.

Ozzy is done, I prefer to remember them as they were:
I am with you on this one. I have decided to let this one pass me by. Better to just ignore it than be disappointed ... Sabbath are already immortalized in my book; no need to go further! :)

I'll certainly be buying this, simply because I've got all their other stuff.  And who knows, they may never record again (after all, except for Heaven & Hell and the studio tracks on Reunion, there hasn't been any new Sabbath material for 18 years!)

I expect it to be "good", simply because of the people involved, but they're not suddenly going to recapture their youthful energy and release another Master of Reality.

I'll definitely buy it, but not for any other reason than listening to Tony still rip.

So who's got the album?

I've only listened to it once, so it needs to sink in a bit, however, first impressions..... wasn't sure about the first few tracks but by the end I was thinking it's really rather super.  Certainly much better than expected.

Likewise, a friend who was of the same opinion as me and was going to let it pass, got it and rates it. I suspect a lot of it was low expectations, but I might have to give it a go...

I think its pretty good actually - from the middle tracks onwards especially - certainly better than the 2 stars it got in Guitarist.

I listened to all the little clips iTunes has. It does sound like there's a few good tracks on there, God Is Dead might be one of the weaker ones. Ponder ponder...

it arrived yesterday, and i only got a chance to listen to about 5 minutes of it this morning.  not much heard then! certainly the beginning is very 70's Sabbath, and I'm very pleasantly surprised by Ozzy's voice.  he's singing in a lower register, rather than pushing it, and it really suits the moody nature of the music.  looking forward to hearing the rest of the album now
